We traveled to Murfreesboro, Arkansas to see these ancient burial mounds in search of a connection to what we find at the Spiro Mounds and other Mississippian mound sites. We were hoping to find out of place artifacts that could be a correlation between an ancient race of people that inhabited this site before the Native Americans and what was found in the Ohio River valley and Cahokia. I will be posting pictures soon in the Gallery of places we have visiting and my research.
